When I first conceived of Sovay identification it was clear the unprecedented growth in cybercrime is the direct result of anonymous logins. Criminals invent identities to prey on children, to prey on people looking for a fair deal and to run elaborate scams. Criminals steal identities to gain access to sensitive information and take money. All the while, no one knows who is really behind the login. Take away the anonymity and you take away the criminal’s means of escaping prosecution.
